This session is about the challenges facing families at this time, whose children have additional support needs. In our recent survey, parents have told us they are struggling to access support for their child and doing school work at home is very difficult.
Connect is hosting two online sessions with Enquire, Scotland’s advice service for additional support for learning. Parents are invited to share their experiences and ask questions. You can choose from two sessions, either 2-3pm or 8-9pm.
The session with Enquire will cover:
• how coronavirus has affected the law on providing additional support for learning, and what that means for you and your child
• what you can do if you are struggling to get support for your child’s learning
• where you may be able to find help.
