Connect's Submission to the Scottish Parliament's Education and Skills Committee's Evidence Session on the 2020 SQA Results

Our parent surveys showed us that SQA qualifications, the cancellation of exams and the impact on young people’s choices was a significant worry for many families, and the 2020 results have highlighted inequalities which have always been in the system. It is of vital importance that the learning of the last few months does not go to waste. We cannot return to normal, instead now is the opportunity to explore what lasting changes are required to make sure all children and young people have equal opportunities to have their achievement and attainment recognised in a fair and equitable way
