STEM Family Activity Day - St Francis Primary School, Glasgow

What did you do?

Have you up close and personal with malaria? Built a rocket that traveled across the solar system?
Held an artificial aorta? Used the power of triangles to reach the roof?

Families from St Francis Primary School did all this and more with the Partnership Schools Action Team at their STEM family day, in partnership with Glasgow University.

Feedback from one of Connect's Regional Advisors said: 'I snuck my 7 year old in and we had great fun learning about the Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Maths. We even made our very own e-coli to take home!'

Who was involved?

Pupils, school staff, family members and the local community as well as Glasgow University were all involved in the day.
