Family Engagement for School Improvement

Family Engagement for School Improvement is a one-day programme considers the evidence currently available around family engagement and explores the purpose and benefits of current practice. Delegates are supported to identify effective methodologies for development of engagement strategies which build capacity and strengthen collaborative working. The key focus is on evaluation of impact, harnessing learning for school improvement and improved outcomes for young people and their families.

This programme is designed for a maximum of 20 delegates and is delivered over a day.

Delegates are asked to complete some preparatory reading and come ready to discuss and reflect. The programme may be delivered as part of a local authority’s leadership development or professional learning programme, and is also regularly organized as an open session for individual delegates.
