The National Parent Forum of Scotland

The National Parent Forum of Scotland

The National Parent Forum of Scotland (NPFS) was set up in 2009 to give Parent Councils and parents an opportunity to discuss and raise educational issues of mutual interest or concerns at a national level. Funded by Scottish Government and hosted by Children in Scotland, the National Parent Forum operates through a system of volunteer parent representatives in local authority areas with a small staff support team.

Visit the National Parent Forum of Scotland’s website here for a range of resources for parents/carers which explain national education policy and support families as they engage with Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) and CfE qualifications.
