Connect's Submission to the Education & Skills Committee on the Senior Phase: Finding the Right Pathways
12th June 2018
Our response to the call for evidence from the Education and Skills Committee describes the gaps in existing provision in schools, in part caused by the absence of an over-arching requirement for schools to deliver diverse pathways and learning opportunities.
We also highlight the lack of provision for early leavers and those needing additional support.
We make six recommendations too, to ensure leadership, clarity and consistency of provision for young people so that they can access different learning pathways. You can read our full report here.
