Connect News! Dr Janet Goodall and George Gilchrist join the Connect professional learning team!

As our professional learning programme goes from strength to strength, we're delighted to announce two new additions to the Connect professional learning team. A very warm welcome to Dr Janet Goodall and George Gilchrist who will both help us in our work with educators to support and encourage family engagement in children's learning.
- Dr Janet Goodall is an author and lecturer at the University of Bath. Janet has worked, written and spoken extensively about parents’ engagement with their children’s learning. Her books on parental engagement include Narrowing the Achievement Gap: Engaging Parents in their Children’s Learning and 100 Tips for Primary Teachers, Engaging Parents with Dr Kathy Weston. Janet will be a consultant supporting our programme of professional learning for school and early years practitioners.
- George Gilchrist is a highly experienced teacher and school leader, and a SCEL Fellow. George has been highly committed to - and engaged in - supporting professional learning and enquiry, with a strong focus on parental engagement. Previously a director of Connect, George joins us as an Associate Trainer.
