What did you do?

Levenmouth Academy has been awarded just over £300k every year for the next four years from the Pupil Equity Fund – the second highest amount in Scotland.

The senior management team at the school have been reaching out to pupils, parents and the wider community to understand their priorities and feed this into planning for the use of the money. Last night was the third in a series of consultation events. Ronnie Ross (Rector) gave a short presentation on the funding and what it can be used for, then there was a carousel exercise/discussion to get ideas from the group. The school's employability officer described some really positive work the school is doing to help pupils into university/employment which is showing measurable results – this is joint work with St Andrews and Fife Council Social Care.
